M-Series / MT-Series (Customizable)

The Industry’s Smallest Footprint: Plug-and-Play OTDR Integration for RFTS and Optical Transmission Equipment.

Key Features

  • Compact Design: With dimensions as small as 143 x 89 x 17mm, it fits easily into tight enclosures or existing optical transmission equipment.
  • Ethernet Control Interface: Communicates via standard Ethernet (TCP/IP), allowing the host system to simply send commands and receive analyzed results without complex driver development.
  • On-Board Processing: All complex trace analysis is performed internally by the module. It outputs ready-to-use data (fault location, loss), reducing the load on your host CPU.
  • Fully Customizable: Supports customized wavelengths (1310/1550/1625/1650nm) and dynamic ranges (30dB to 45dB) to match specific project requirements.
  • Developer Friendly: Supports secondary development with comprehensive technical support, facilitating rapid integration into RFTS (Remote Fiber Test Systems).
  • Industrial Reliability: Designed for 24/7 continuous operation in demanding environments with a wide operating temperature range (-20 to 60°C for MT series).

Accelerate Your Optical System Development Developing a high-performance fiber monitoring system from scratch is time-consuming and costly. The G-Link OTDR Module is designed to solve this challenge for system integrators and equipment manufacturers. By encapsulating the complex optical components and data processing algorithms into a compact, robust unit, we allow you to focus on your software and system architecture.

Intelligent “Black Box” Operation Unlike basic optical components, the G-Link OTDR Module is an intelligent subsystem. It integrates the laser source, detector, and data processor. Your host system (PC or embedded controller) simply communicates via Ethernet. You send a measurement command, and the module returns the full trace data (.sor) and an analyzed event table. This “Black Box” architecture significantly reduces your R&D cycle and time-to-market.

Versatile Performance for Any Network Whether you are building a PON monitoring system requiring 1625nm live testing, or a long-haul cable security system needing high dynamic range (up to 45dB), the M-Series and MT-Series modules can be tailored to your needs. With industry-leading dead zones (<0.8m) and high measurement accuracy, it ensures your system delivers precise fault location every time.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The module uses a standard Ethernet interface (TCP/IP). The host system sends commands (Start, Stop, Get Data) via socket communication. We provide a detailed communication protocol manual and demo software to assist development.

Yes. The OTDR Module has an on-board processor that analyzes the raw data. It can return the event table (fault location, loss, reflection) and the trace data file (.sor) directly to your host system.

Yes. For the MT Series, we offer customization services including specific wavelengths, dynamic ranges, and even physical dimensions (PCB layout) to fit your specific equipment housing.
